Recreation Chalets in Liptovský Trnovec are situated in the Liptov region, on the northern bank of the water dam Liptovská Mara. The chalets are located only 6 km from the centre of the Liptovský Mikuláš town and they are also in close vicinity of one of the most popular tourist attractions in Slovakia – thermal swimming pools Aquapark Tatralandia (3 km) and Thermal Park Bešeňová (12 km) – open all year round and also near the ski centre Jasná in the Low Tatras mountains (15 km).

We are offering accommodation in two single wooden cottages with the total capacity of 16 beds and 4 additional beds. Each cottage has two floors, gas heating and solid fuel heating – fireplace in the sitting room.

Recreation Chalets in Liptovský Trnovec - EACH CHALET IS EQUIPPED WITH:
- ground floor: a recreation room with the fireplace, a convertible sofa (can be used as additional bed for 2 people), a TV set with a satellite, an internet connection
- fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator, microwave oven, electric cooker, kettle, dishes), with the seating capacity of 10 people
- toilet
- storage room for sport equipment (skis, bikes, etc.)
- upper floor: two 4-beds rooms (a double bed and twin beds) with a storage place
- two separate bathrooms ( a washbasin, a shower and a toilet)

Our guests can relax at the spacious terrace where there can use the garden furniture and our portable barbecue equipment. In case of interest or need there is an access to the internet within the cottage. The parking places are next to the cottages.

Description of vicinity: LIPTOV je jeden z najkrajších a najnavštevovanejších regiónov na Slovensku, ktorý ponúka očarujúcu prírodu (Nízke a Západné Tatry, Chočské vrchy), liečivé termálne pramene (Tatralandia, Bešeňová), jaskyne, bohatú históriu či jedinečný folklór. Okrem lyžovania a turistiky ponúka tento región aj menej tradičné a adrenalínové športy: paragliding, rafting, off-road, jazdu na koni, horolezectvo, skialpinizmus a iné.

Suggestions for hikes: ADVENTURE – up to 20 km:
- Tarzánia – Obstacle Climbing Rope Course in the area of Aquaparku Tatralandia long 470 m, or alternative in forrest – Tarzánia Jasná
- Horse back riding – nature, riding in a roofed hall or in a tilt-yard
- four-wheeled vehicle, go-kart, mountain bobsleigh track in Pavčina Lehota, paintball, paragliding, archery, Bike Park Jasná – adrenaline tracks for bikers

CAVES – up-to 20 km:
- Demänovská Cave of Liberty – the most visited cave in Slovakia 8126 m long, 2150 m is accessed for public. The cave stands out by its unbelievable variety of colors and shapes of flowstone fills, unique calcite water lilies and other lacustrine forms of flowstone decoration.
- Demänovská Ice Cave – with massive ice shapes, 650 m is accessed for public. Ice fill has been formed in the cave for the last 500 years and in combination with calcite decoration the cave offers a very interesting tour.

HIKING:
- Prosiek Canyon and Kvačany Canyon (6 km from Liptovský Trnovec): an educational hiking trail will take you from Prosiek trough Svorad and Velké Borové to the Kvačianska Canyon, which belongs to slovak national park and among Slovakia's most visited canyons.
- tourism: Bystrá (2248 m.n.m.) – the highest peak of the West Tatras; Baranec (2185 m.n.m.) - 3. highest peak of West Tatras; Ďumbier (2065 m.n.m.) – the highest peak of Low Tatras; Veľký Choč (1608 m.n.m.) and many others in West and Low Tatras, as well as Veľká Fatra

- around Liptovská Mara toward to the Celtic settlement Havránok, Demänovská Valley - Jasná, Jánska Valley, Jalovecká Valley, Žiarska Valley
